OILFIELD SUPPLY COMPANY ACQUIRES SOUTHEAST KANSAS LOCATIONS
Sunrise Oilfield Supply acquires Chanute and Cherryvale facilities
of Buckeye Supply Company
Wichita, Kansas (August 4, 2011) - Sunrise Oilfield Supply announces the acquisition of two stores from Buckeye Supply Company. This acquisition will allow Sunrise Oilfield Supply to enhance their position of being the leading oilfield supplier in Kansas.
Buckeye Supply Company was formed in 1950 and has been providing supplies to the oilfield for over 60 years. Headquartered in El Dorado, Kansas, Buckeye also has stores in Madison, Russell, Wellsville and a pipe yard in Abilene, Texas. Sunrise has acquired their Chanute and Cherryvale locations.
"I am very excited about this acquisition and the opportunities it will bring us in the southeast area of Kansas. It also further strengthens our position in the marketplace," commented Mike Reed, President and CEO of Sunrise Oilfield Supply. While Sunrise has a strong presence throughout the rest of the state, they did not have a location in southeast Kansas and knew their customer base and market share would increase significantly if their products and services were available in that area.

Since its inception, Sunrise has established long-lasting relationships with its customers and will continue to build these relationships well into the 21st century.
